Mark your calendars for EVOLVE ALABAMA conference for teachers, administrators, service providers, and parents of students with HF-ASD. This year's focus will be effective teaching strategies on October 19 - 20, 2017. Please visit www.evolvealabama.com. Dr. Brenda Smith Myles will be our keynote speaker on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
We are NOT accepting new clients at this time. I'm sorry for an inconvience that may cause your family. Although we want to help all students with HF-ASD, we do not have the staff or space to see any more students at this time. Please check back with us during January 2018.
After-School Social Group Placements have been e-mailed for the 2017-2018 school year. If you did not receive a group placement, please let Kerry Mataya know as soon as possible.

School Year After-School Social Groups (All Ages)

Aug 19, 2017 - May 26, 2018

Bridgeway Services provides intervention-based services during after-school groups during the school year to develop social skills, perspective taking skills, problem solving skills, emotional understanding, conversation, emotional regulation, skills in team sports, skills in group games, leadership skills, and career development. Bridgeway focuses on using individualized curriculum and placement in all of our after-school social groups. Group placements are determined based on individual and group needs. We do our best to make sure that our clients receive a combination of individual and group services because group services are most effective when a student knows what he or she is working on, and individual services are most effective when practiced in a group setting. Our services are appropriate for clients with characteristics of HF-ASD; however, we do also see students with a gifted IQ, ADD, OCD, or ODD.
